New member seeks advice!
Hi everyone, I've just joined the Forum after finding it recently. Already I'm finding it very interesting and useful. Having only ever attempted one wooden ship model c. 25 years ago I'm really a new starter. Does anyone think I'm being too ambitious by starting with Artesania latina's 'Bluenose II'? Also I quite like the look of Caldercraft's 'Badger'. I like the fact that I can download Caldercrafts instruction manual before buying.
Any advice will be much appreciated. Bill

Bill,
Personally I think the Bluenose is an excellent choice. She has beautiful lines and appears to be a nice challenge. I addition there are plenty of folks on the site who are, or have done her. Lots of pics to compare notes and tons of information available. Post some pics when you get started, whatever you choose. Good Luck, T

Hi Bill:
Welcome aboard. I too would say the Bluenose appears to be a very nice build. Thinking seriously about doing same if I ever finish my Victory.... just because I like her looks. Best of luck.
