Guidelines for submitting material

  General Articles are contributed from outside sources. You can view some examples of these here - General Articles.
Anyone wishing to contribute a General Article can - Contact the Administrator


Member Submitted Articles:

 Articles focus on the construction of ship models and related material. Articles can run between one and five thousand words. They can be illustrated with small photographs and/or other graphic material such as vessel plans and/or technical drawings.

 Please post your proposed article in the "Members Only" Publication Forum, under "Articles". The Editor will be automatically notified by email when you have posted your submission and will contact you for more details (if needed) and/or when your proposal is published. Authors can include an outline, along with sample illustrations. Articles can be reprints, but only with the source's permission. Click here to view the listings on the "Article Page" and to look at some of the articles already published. The Forum retains "editorial" rights to submitted material before publication.

Member Submitted Shop Notes/Tips:

 Shop notes/tips share workshop techniques developed by individual modelers, including shop lay outs, tool tips, etc. Notes typically run six to eight hundred words, and can include graphic displays and/or photos.

 Please post your proposed Shop Note and/or Tip  in the "Members Only" Publication Forum, under "Shop Notes/Tips". The Editor will be automatically notified by email when you have posted your submission and will contact you for more details (if needed) and/or when your proposal is published. Articles can be reprints, but only with the source's permission. Click here to view the listings on the "Shop Notes/Tips Page" and to look at some of the shop notes/tips already published.
