Hello Guest! There's a lot to look over, so sit back with a cup of coffee, relax and browse around. We have a great group of ship and boat modelers here, both newbies and old salts, from all over the world. Our goal here is to help each other, without criticism or rebuke. Both newbies and old salts alike can learn from each other. No one has all the answers. Our most basic rule is simple, respect for your fellow members and their opinions. And don't take yourself too seriously! wirewolf (John, AKA - Cap), Forum Administrator

Default A wonderful site!

I can't tell you how much I enjoy coming aboard each day and looking at the material on this site. In the few short weeks I have been a member I have learned SO much about the craft of ship modelling. And not only is it informative, it is wonderful to look at the ships in their various stages of construction. I also appreciate the give and take between the members and how everyone is willing to help out and give advice.
Richard

Thank you for the compliment Richard. It’s very much appreciated.
We have a terrific group of modelers here. The Forum works due to all of the members’ contributions and input.
The Internet and its ability to connect people world wide has been a great asset to our hobby. It’s like having a modeling club right in one’s own home town.
Again, I thank you and all of the members for your efforts and support.
John

A word to all others.

I do NOT really like to flame or bash a person when he is not in front of me.

I state my good and bad feelings very strongly compared to most people.

Do NOT take offense unless I call you STUPID or a JERK or even worse.

The pussy cat, Rich.

Nice one Chap!!
I couldn't agree more!!
"The" site is definitley like having an ongoing modelling group at home.

The Internet is indeed a wonderful resource if used in the correct manner.

This site brings together many nations and people who's passion is Ship Modelling and, as I have said before, illustrates the many hours/days/years of devotion to the art.

I am only one of many that enjoy "Coming Aboard" on a daily basis!!

Cheers and regards,

Harry.

Hi All,

Sounds like what we have here is a "mutual admiration society." And I would like to echo all the wonderful comments re: this site, in this thread.
